The Bolton Upgrade - June 2008

Bolton Combined Court recently upgraded three of their Courts as Bastion installed two secure docks and one semi secure dock. Courts 2 and 4, both Crown Courts, boast Bastion’s renowned high quality secure docks, matching the current Court room furniture. Bastion also installed dock officer’s shelving as a goodwill gesture to HMCS while overseeing the installation of speech enhancement systems.

Court 5 contains a semi-secure dock, with Bastion modifying a basic design to improve the quality and security to the dock. Although Bastion used the existing dock wall, the capping has been replaced in addition to stainless steel brackets supporting toughened glazing.

Bastion considered the implications of working within a tight deadline and installed Court 2 in a single weekend with both Courts 4 and 5 installed the following weekend.
