Although bullet resistance remains one of our great strengths, this is optional. Bastion Bespoke Projects brings together high class joinery manufacturing and installation skills which are highly respected and sought after by many blue-chip clients.

Service and Manufacturing Capabilities

Top level service delivery requires exceptional capabilities and our new 13,000 sq.ft facility, blends a highly experienced sales and operational team with first class craftsmen and state-of-the-art production machinery, including CNC routing facilities, edge banding and spray-finishing.

A policy of continuous investment means that we are constantly developing and extending our capabilities, keeping us at the forefront of customer led service provision. And, beyond the Bespoke Joinery capabilities, our in-house metalworking, powder-coating and solid surface capabilities, differentiate us further from routine ‘joinery suppliers’. This enables us to provide a more end-to-end service to our clients, with the added benefit of a more streamlined supply chain.

Modern projects require multi-material skills, which is why we became DuPoint Corian® approved fabricators in 2003 and have recently added in-house metalwork and ppc facilities. These capabilities make us a true single-source supplier and reduce your project management and QA burden.

Winter Work

Over the recent Winter months, Bastion has installed a total of five secure docks at the QE II Law Courts, Liverpool and Reading Magistrate courts.

Landmark of the Year - 2008

Bastion were back at the ‘Landmark of the year - 2008’ last month installing a catering facility to the reception desks, vanity units and wall panelling previously installed.

DDA Alterations

Since the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act in 1995, Her Majesty’s Courts Service has been working to ensure that they meet their obligations and act within the sprit of the DDA. Bastion work colsely with HMCS in ensuring that Court room docks and furniture are DDA compliant.

Curved Counter

Dunston Activity Centre, Gateshead has invested in staff protection with a new attack resistant counter and screen. The curved counter consisting of oak timber and Corian incorporates four pieces of secure glazing supported with steel frames.
